Artist: Daniel Ellis
Daniel is a graduate of The American Academy Of Art in Chicago, where he completed a double major in Electronic Design and Oil Painting.
The “Flowergirls Series” is Daniel first completely Digital showing. “Digital Painting” is a new media, and has yet to be fully embraced by the mainstream. That’s something Daniel is out to change.
He says, “ the use of composition, colors, space, movement etc. are what’s important. Not weather it’s done using a computer. The computer is just another tool to be use for self expression, just as a paint brush is used”.
Daniel has not abandoned the more conventional medias. He is still and always will be in love with Oils, Pastels and Watercolors for his portrait work. Digital Painting is just another media to explore.

However, one of your own photographs can be used for us to create your portrait (to upload your images click here). We can combine photos, add, or subtract images in order to create your ideal composition. In addition to digital paintings, we can create traditional paintings in oils, watercolors, pastels or any other medium available.

Hybrid Paintings is Daniel’s latest venture, combining conventional mediums e.g. waterclors, oils, with digital paintings. He still loves the conventional mediums and balance his work with both.
